I was looking back at some of the old pictures I took when I first arrived in Juneau and found something alarming. Here is a picture that I took of the Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Trail at the beginning of my time here. Take note of the surrounding topography of the area..
And here is a photo from my last blog post that mom took.
It hasn't even been three months and I can already see a considerable change in the face of the glacier.
